What our Clients Say
When we purchased our house we inherited a fine conservatory. However, over the years we became frustrated with the negative aspects, such as the abundance of flies in the spring, the freezing cold and condensation in the winter, the cost of heating, and the extreme heat in the summer.
We loved the aspect and the view over the south facing garden and so asked Peter Temple to create us a light and warm garden room which we could use all year round. The room he created for us is absolutely fantastic and is now the most used room in the house. The room was completely insulated and fitted with a wood burning stove which created a warm, cosy, and light room for reading in the winter. Larger windows and a roof light have ensured that we have clearer views than we had in the conservatory and yet the room stays cool in the summer without the need for expensive blinds.
Although the work was carried out during a very wet October and November, the disruption was kept to a minimum by Peter and his team. The men arrived every day on site at 7.20am and commenced work immediately; they were very professional, respectful of us and our property, incredibly skilled, and worked with good humour...

Asked how to make a conservatory with a
glass roof warmer in the winter, cooler in the summer and economical to live in, we designed a scheme using a steel box section to create a load-bearing roof where we could achieve a good level of insulation. The tiled roof was built to match the adjoining building.
All we set out to do has been achieved and the owners now have a room they can use comfortably all year round. Following this, we were asked to look at a dated internal layout where we designed a new master bedroom, en-suite and dressing room. Again our objective was achieved.
Both projects, although not large, were
dealt with using the same simple, common sense approach.

Peter himself worked as designer and project manager and his vision and eye for detail were second to none. We were kept fully informed at every stage of the work and our comments and suggestions were always welcomed. We felt we were part of a genuine partnership.
We were so delighted with this project that we had Peter’s team complete some extra jobs around the house and then consulted him over our ideas for enlarging a small en suite bathroom. In our minds we had 3 separate ideas for the work, which involved moving the walls between the bedroom, doors, and built-in wardrobes to create the extra space. Not surprisingly, in a matter of 15 minutes Peter came up with a far superior plan which offered everything we had imagined and more besides.
Peter’s design skills and clear vision created another incredible space for us and we now have a superb 5 piece luxury en suite bathroom and a much improved bedroom with a walk in wardrobe … the latter being an unexpected bonus. Once again the standard of work and craftsmanship was exceptional and when the tradesmen take photographs of their own work you know that they are rightly proud.
We couldn’t be more pleased with the work that Peter has done for us; his team have created two new rooms that have together transformed our house and made it our “forever home”.
